The cozy cottages were perfect for a squad getaway. The beds were mega comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus, being able to feed the farm animals was a rad bonus. And the location was prime, just a short walk to the cool shops and cafes. Can't wait to come back!
Only thing we'd ask for is a sick dance floor or a chill lounge area for partying and hanging out with our crew. that, everything was lit!

Our stay at lodge 6 was simply amazing! The views of the lake were breathtaking, and the cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. The high speed wifi was a lifesaver for my daughter's zoom meeting, and the peaceful surroundings ensured a quiet and relaxing stay. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, especially with the electric blanket, and the spacious bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The service provided by Sam and his team was exceptional, with every detail taken care of, including a fresh loaf of bread upon arrival and even food for the kids to feed the adorable animals. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The cabins were absolutely stunning, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. They had everything we needed for a short or long stay. The landscaping and layout were incredibly well thought out, with rock walls and privacy screening adding a unique touch. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - close to restaurants and the town center, yet it still felt like a private country getaway. We will definitely be returning!

As youngsters, we absolutely loved the comfortable bedrooms and living area, especially the wood fireplace that kept us warm on those cold winter nights. the lodge had a full kitchen and modern facilities, including a washing machine and dishwasher. the location was great, within walking distance to the supermarket and town for a meal. the host was lovely and provided us with local insights. the free food for animal feeding was a bonus and our kids said it was the highlight of their trip.

We had the most amazing stay at Alpine Lodges. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm greeting and a freshly baked loaf of bread. The cabin itself was fine, with stylish and modern furnishings. The beds were comfortable, and we loved cozying up by the wood fire in the lounge. The location was perfect, right across from the beautiful lake and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The kids had a blast feeding the animals on the grounds, especially the adorable pig named Whiskey. We also enjoyed a complimentary round of golf on their 9-hole course.
There was no outdoor furniture to enjoy the amazing views, but it didn't take away from our overall experience.

I chose to visit Lake Tekapo specifically for its stunning landmarks, and Alpine Lodges was conveniently located in the Canterbury region. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel offered free private parking, which was a great convenience. the fully equipped kitchen with a dining area was a wonderful feature that I thoroughly enjoyed during my stay.
Really struggling to find something we didn't like. The only few things there may be room to improve on are the cushions for the dining chairs , the choice of feather bedding including duvet option, late check out option, and the lack of dinner and star gazing recommendations.

The hotel had a charming and elegant decoration that made me feel like I was in a cozy mountain retreat. The common areas were well maintained and accessible for senior people like me. I especially loved the comfortable seating areas where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
I wish the children working there were more knowledgeable about local attractions and activities suitable for senior guests.

I absolutely loved the cozy and inviting decor of the lodge. The furniture and decoration choices were just perfect, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas of the lodge were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. It was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings without any concerns.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is if the children working there could provide more assistance with recommendations for activities suitable for our age group. It would have been helpful to have dinner and star gazing recommendations specifically tailored for senior guests.

My recent stay at Alpine Lodges was wonderful. The cottage I stayed in was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owners have thoughtfully provided all the little extras that guests might require, including a washer/dryer, very helpful. The decor is tasteful, and the cottage stays warm with a heat pump and a beautiful wood fire. The location is perfect, offering a peaceful and private retreat in the heart of the Mackenzie Country. And the bonus of cute farm animals and friendly ducks added to the charm. I highly recommend Alpine Lodges for a good getaway.

The room at Alpine Lodges was amazing! It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The air-conditioning kept me cool during the hot days, and the living room was perfect for relaxing and watching TV. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, allowing me to cook my own meals. The private bathroom was clean and had a refreshing shower. The views of the lake from the patio were absolutely stunning too!
I have to admit, the wardrobe in the room was a bit small for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The room at Alpine Lodges was fantastic! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private bathroom was clean and had a refreshing shower. The living room was cozy, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own delicious, vegan meals. The flat-screen TV provided entertainment, and the wardrobe kept our clothes neatly organized. The views over the lake from the patio were absolutely breathtaking. the room made us feel right at home and added to the enjoyment of our vacation.
Personally, I found the air conditioning in the units to be a bit loud. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate the coolness it provides, so it's just my subjective opinion.
